Description: David Teboul goes by the moniker Linear Bells. He is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound artist based in Nantes, France. His music is a mix between, vintage instruments, sound manipulations and field recordings, all primarily created with acoustic and analogic instruments. 

Proudly presented by Hidden Vibes, "For Your Eyes Only" was composed and produced over a period of 4 months whereby it was practiced over improvised sessions played outside only (gardens, beaches) and recorded on a reel to reel Ampex system, followed by processing all the materials with the use of cello, piano, guitars and field recordings. 

"For Your Eyes Only" can be seen as a new step in the work of Linear Bells as unlike of his previous works David Teboul tried here to keep his songs as acoustic as it could be, trying not to over process his sounds to keep this wonderful fragility alive and that makes this album a little jewel of intimacy where hidden treasures await you.

Description: Hailing from Toulouse in the South of France, SAÅAD is composed of Romain Barbot and Greg Buffier. The prolific pair have been spending the dark hours of night-time exploring the realms of sound for a few years now with a combination of epic, abstract drone and ambient improvisations, new concepts, elaborate murky atmospheres, and a strong visual identity as the trademark of their collaboration. 

This new full-length album "Orbs & Channels" immerses listeners into the maze of a haunted and shadowy invisible world where superstition plays a key role. Making audible that which cannot be uttered, it is an ode to the beyond, the expression of the inexpressible that is associated to it, and an echo of unfathomable grief. After a handful of fascinating albums and appearances on various compilations - most of them released on tape or digital format through their own record label BLWBCK - we're delighted to have these fellow sound experimentalists carrying out their intriguing research in the Hands in the Dark lab.

Description: David Teboul goes by the moniker Linear Bells. He is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound artist based in Nantes, France. His music is a mix between, vintage instruments, sound manipulations and field recordings, all primarily created with acoustic and analogic instruments. Teboul starting to produce sounds in the mid 90′s under the moniker of Embark. He created one of the first french net-labels named Acrylik, which was involved in electronica production and both digital and vinyl distribution. 

LE CAVALIER BLEU is inspired by Kandinski painting organization “Der Blaue Reiter”.
As the Der Blaue Reiter Almanac essays and theorizing with composer Arnold Schoenberg indicate, Kandinsky also expressed the communion between artist and viewer as being available to both the senses and the mind . Hearing tones and chords as he painted, Kandinsky theorized that (for example), yellow is the colour of middle C on a brassy trumpet; black is the colour of closure, and the end of things; and that combinations of colours produce vibrational frequencies, akin to chords played on a piano. Kandinsky also developed a theory of geometric figures and their relationships—claiming, for example, that the circle is the most peaceful shape and represents the human soul.

This release is a blurry vision of a tale where you could meet this dark rider overlapping his blue horse, enjoying great mountain landscapes and mysterious forests, colors and darkness.

This was achieve using, guitars, keyboards, bells, field recordings, bass.
It was recorded and mastered between april and august 2012.

Description, taken from the Bandcamp page: From September to December 2011, EUS (Costa Rica), Postdrome (UK) & Saåad (France) came together to explore their shared visions of drone and ambient music. The result is Sustained Layers, a 44 min introspective work formed by carefully assembled layers of drones, field recordings and blurred melodies. This collaboration was made possible by the constant experimentation and improvisation that took place throughout recordings, and distance becomes a key part of the record as the time zones separating the artists shaped the progression of the album entirely.

Description: an instrumental album from french composer Raphaël D. Hardy is an inspiring trip to the world of touching piano tunes. Gently and carefully produced these melodies create special mood of melancholy and calmness, and the whole album sounds like one long fairytale, which is not actually that long as album's length's only around 16 minutes. A very good and graceful piece of piano music. But the most important notice is that author is not a pianist and creates all his tunes by computer means.
