Description: couldn't help posting this album, because it is so very special! Emphemetry is Richard ‘Biff’ Birkin, born in Derby in 1982. This album is a carefully arranged blend of genres, impossible to be described in one word. You can hear ambient passages, piano instrumentals, calm acoustic singer-songwriter material. The new album from Emphemetry features ambient swells of guitars, intimate folk songs, a string quartet, strange sounds, tape delay, reverse loops, pianos, and a haunted acappella quintet. 
"Variations of Ambience" could be another title to this great record. Another intriguing fact is that this album was mixed (plus additional production) by Nils Frahm at Durton Studio, Berlin. Are you still thinking?

Description: today I'll share with you a very unusual and rare album. Вежа Хмар (A Tower of Clouds, in translation) was a band from Ukraine, who characterized their own music as ritual folk. It is actually a very good definition, but one can hear notes of dark folk and ambient in their music. Based mostly on folklor, this music is not folk music in wide understanding. Hazy ambient sound of instruments is combined with rhythmic, sometimes monotonous female vocals, it really does create an atmosphere of some kind of ritual. A Very inspiring record, even though it wouldn't be good for everyone, I'm pretty sure, that you've never heard anything like this before. Try it!

Poland is a collection of tunes, played using the acoustic guitar and enriched by a variety of other instruments' sounds. Quoting the website, Poland is acoustic guitar, with touches of accordion, glockenspiel, manipulated voice, piano flute, and scant field-recordings, for a collection of more intimate pieces written and partly improvised over the course of 2009.
