Description: La Voz Quebrada is the second album by Claro de Luna, the post / progressive rock project by Jose Acuña, released after more than two years since the debut album, Lo Que Ha Sido Y Lo Que Será. It is a conceptual album, inspired by the gaps and voids in the communication process that we experiment every day. Although it’s an instrumental album, the vocals in some songs serves as an extra instrument, along with invited musicians, playing cello, sax and flute.
-
The gaps and voids in the communication process affect our daily lives, either talking with friends and strangers, or via the role of mass communication such as the press. We are surrounded by errors in language, used to express what we really want to say. The slightest misinterpretations can deform and mutate the message, beyond it’s original meaning.
When the words we say can’t be expressed as truth, and the message can’t be delivered to where or whom it is intended, the fragile chain in communication breaks, and our interpretation refracts the original message and its primary intention.
The interpretation, the intention, the approach, the context… are some of the factors present in the communication process that could transform an original message into something completely different, leading to missinformation, ill-founded opinions, personal conflicts and many other social and individual problems.

Description: it's finally out for pay-what-you-want download! Description, taken from the Bandcamp page: From September to December 2011, EUS (Costa Rica), Postdrome (UK) &
Saåad (France) came together to explore their shared visions of drone
and ambient music. The result is Sustained Layers, a 44 min
introspective work formed by carefully assembled layers of drones, field
recordings and blurred melodies. This collaboration was made possible
by the constant experimentation and improvisation that took place
throughout recordings, and distance becomes a key part of the record as
the time zones separating the artists shaped the progression of the
album entirely.

EUS - Tras El Horizonte
EUS - Tras El Horizonte
Genre: Ambient/Drone/Experimental
Format: mp3 | VBR (V0)
Country: Costa Rica
Size: 95 Mb
Description: Perfectly done ambient sounds from Costa Rica. EUS is a one man project taking beginning in 2008. According to the authors words, EUS’ philosophy is to make each album different from its other ones, but always in an Ambient style, trying and experimenting with different techniques for the recording process. This work is a great sonic adventure into the world of atmospheric ambient and warm drones, and that is pretty much it. Should be good for lovers of atmospheric and hypnotizing sounds. Totally worthy to at least give a listen. You can find EUS music and download it for free/listen it for free using links below:
