Description: Hailing from Toulouse in the South of France, SAÅAD is composed of Romain Barbot and Greg Buffier. The prolific pair have been spending the dark hours of night-time exploring the realms of sound for a few years now with a combination of epic, abstract drone and ambient improvisations, new concepts, elaborate murky atmospheres, and a strong visual identity as the trademark of their collaboration. 

This new full-length album "Orbs & Channels" immerses listeners into the maze of a haunted and shadowy invisible world where superstition plays a key role. Making audible that which cannot be uttered, it is an ode to the beyond, the expression of the inexpressible that is associated to it, and an echo of unfathomable grief. After a handful of fascinating albums and appearances on various compilations - most of them released on tape or digital format through their own record label BLWBCK - we're delighted to have these fellow sound experimentalists carrying out their intriguing research in the Hands in the Dark lab.

Description: "Five Songs" is a small, semi-improvised EP, recorded in one week. Please, find some time to take a listen while having your morning cup of tea or coffee. Don't forget to think of the ones you love and where do your roots come from. Don't forget to think of a place you were born. And remember one very important thing: this is not the end.

Titles of tracks 1 and 4 are inspired by a poem of Ukrainian poet Ivan Androschuk:

It consists of one member, Søren Nissen Jørgensen, who is originally from a small town named Augustenborg located on the island of Als, Denmark. So I’m An Islander was founded in May 2011. The atmosphere in So I’m An Islander’s music can be defined as old, simple, organic, experimental, mysterious and warm. Several projects and collaborations have sprung up and constantly developed the idea of merging the instrumental music and the listener’s interpretation of the melodies. The listener makes every song their own unique experience.
