Description: Equal Stones is a solo expression by Amandus, an ambient producer from the Netherlands also active on the Myosotis project. He felt the need to express himself without any boundary of thought, which ultimately left him with a handful of unsettling tracks which were quite experimental and emotionally unstable. 

From this first release by Equal Stones you can expect a diverse palette of moods. Ranging from warmth, loss, disobedience and darker edges. 

On this record musician has layered quite a bit of guitars, two tracks are almost solely layered processed guitars, and for instance on Drawing Circles there are processed distortion guitars pounding rhythmic phrases.

Description: Myosotis is an ambient duo from the Netherlands. Amandus and Evert have been making music together for around 3-4 years now, at first solely guitars and piano. As of last year they have started producing ambient music together because of a mutual interest for ambient, which they entitled the Myosotis project. First intentions of a duo were to create "two sides of the same coin", which would include Light as well as Dark ambiences, and to combine the two.

Intersection is a debut release of Myosotis containing eight carefully selected tracks and being a kind of summary of years, that musicians spent working and experimenting in search of their own sound.

Description: Creation VI is an ambient/drone project for Ukrainian sound artist Tim Six, started in 2006. The main aim of the project is to discover the properties of music as a tool for expressing nonverbal concepts. The first such notions arise in philosophy, mysticism and of course, in all kind of creativity. Power of ambience is practically inexhaustible, so every aspect in which there is a need of musical thinking, finds its particular expression. so the music of Creation VI may vary from dark and ritual ambiences to weightless, transparent drones.

Modern science still does not know for sure what came first — music or human speech. Either first words were born out of imitations of sounds of nature, or out of gestures; what part played primitive religious faiths and cults in it. Only one thing is clear — at the very beginning rhythm, sound and word formed a whole. In this album there are rituals from humanity’s archaic past, fears and insights of primitive people, a feeling of indivisible unity with earth and sky, wind and stone. Touch on the genetic memory, a way through the darkness of millennia to the primary source of everything we create now. 

For the album’s recording we used a voice and a breath, stones and palms, everything that can be tapped and everything that can make noise. Withered leaves, acacia seedpods with seeds, branches, insects swarming and creeping and birds singing. And of course we used singing bowls and the jaw harp (c).

The project released 13 albums through years 2009-2012, with more coming. The artist himself defines his music as “cosmic” and defines himself as an instrument of translating the universe into forms of music. It should be noted that within different releases the artist is attempting to create a universe with it’s own set of rules, mostly dealing with recurring themes and song-titles in those releases.
