Description: A very nice split album of three musicians released recently. Three different visions of ambient sound, united in one album. Green Arbor is a birthchild of Benjamin from Croatia, a really good start. Sun Devoured Earth is a project of Vadim from Latvia with a really rich discography so far, counting lots of realeases of huge variety of genres. This split is a succesful effort of creating ambient music with some post-rock features. Finally, Lullabies Under A grey Sky is an ambient outfit of Nathan from Virginia, USA, producing calm and warm drones. Sleepytime music (c).

Description: recently I got a request from Slavnik, a person behind Plamen Vecne Zime to post his music on Hidden Vibes, and I don't ever ignore such requests, so it's here now. Evolved from one-man pagan metal project, Plamen Vecne Zime is now producing ambient music. Themes for tracks have changed from pagan thematics to personal viewing of things, nature's beauty and stuff like that. Stremiti is a very specific album, that would be good not for every ambient music lover, mainly because of its concept. Sounding really close to Лихолесье, and some other ambient projects with folk touch. Anyways, checking the preview video will help you to decide, whether you'll like it or not:

Description: it's been a while, since Vladimir Sterzer - Timeless Piano Dreams album had been posted on Hidden Vibes, so now blog needs more piano music. Piano music for quiet nights and peaceful mornings, that's how Solo Piano, an album by pianist and composer Bart Knol, is described by himself. That's definitely true, as the whole album is calm and peaceful, quite as pure morning is. Bartois music is supposed to remind you of its main influenses, such as Vassilis Tsabropoulos, Dustin' O Halloran, Gonzales, Philip Glass, Yann Tiersen, Tord Gustavsen, Eric Satie, Chopin, Bach, Esbjorn Svensson. So, If you like those, this album surely will be a small gift for you.

 

The goal of the album was creating a record which you can “trust” . Something which can be played on quiet evenings or sunday mornings, knowing that it will be a comfortable ride until the last track has passed. In 2009 he finished that record called “Solo Piano”.

Description: hooray, it's finally out. The first, and definitely not the last compilation of chosen tracks from Hidden Vibes. It was a very long road from the birth of an idea to create this compilation till the day it all got finalized.

Hidden Vibes Vol.1 is a pretty good introduction to this blog, perfect thing to start with, if you want to get into the Hidden Vibes stuff. It contains chosen tracks from chosen artists, some of them could have already been heard, some of them are quite exclusive, and I'm honored to say that for Gamardah Fungus, Creation VI and Non Dolet tracks this is the first appearance to people.

I want to say special thank you to all of artists, who agreed to participate, it's quite pleasant that number of interested was way bigger, than number of tracks needed for the tracklist. Thank you all. For all those, whose tracks did not appear here - I'm keeping all of them for the Vol. 2, which will follow Vol. 1 very, very soon.
